production: voiceover in the studio

 Hello blog! Today my partner and I, decided the music background for each scene. during scene 1 a diegetic sound will be heard. As both actresses are having a conversation. in scene 2, upbeat music will be heard. Inside of the headphones while the actress is running. in scene 3, during the action of the chasing, diegetic sounds of leaves breaking. intense thriller music will be heard in the background. the bad guy will be chasing the actress. in the chase scene energetic, thriller and scary music will be playing to create a sense f fear. and the point of views will intensify it. at the end the weapon being being hit will be intensify. at the end their will be a voiceover of Claire. But because my partner and I could not meet. I recorded the voiceover. I started of by reading the script over and over again. then i decided to record myself reading the script. finally I actually recorded multiple times. and chose the best one i liked. after I will add the voiceover to the film and edit it. I sent it to my partner, Naturellle to review. she also decided it was good. the only thing awaits it to add it.

Planning blog: props, costumes, back-up...

  Scheduling We plan to begin filming in early February during the week of the 6th and finish the week of the 20th. Then edit for a week to two weeks until it is done. This schedule includes prep time for props and costumes, planning ride accommodations, and finalizing any script or plot points.  Location  We are looking at multiple locations, and depending on the weather and availability, the final selection will be made. Production blog: Crash!

 Today at the old neighborhood we filmed the scene where the character tragically gets hurt in a car accident. This plot of our story is supposed to give the character Nathalie a sense of remorse for the way she treated her friend. Hoping a sense of loss gives her a change of heart toward her selfish behaviors. To do this scene, I had Alexi that has a car drive toward the camera. This took multiple shots, each having different techniques for example the first was just a slow stop but the others combined a honk or a harsh stop. To create the allusion of a car accident without harming each other---we did not actually film a car hitting one of our teammates ( disclaimer) --- I had POV shots of the character acting like they got bumped by the car. To create this I filmed a slow motion of what happens, shooked the camera in the falling motion, filmed inside of the car, and had the actor act out falling.
